In 1901, in the Žatec region, 9,218 growers were
recorded. Including the largest producers, this
represents an average acreage of 1.2 ha per grower. In
the administrative area of Žatec alone, there were 487

registered there. The biggest surface area of hop fields

process of production and the trade of hops.
